FAQ

Q: Why should I hire you?

To be blunt: because you won’t get photos from anywhere else like you will from the Dewey Street Photo Company.  We are original, candid, offbeat, and we do excellent work.  Also, we think we’re pretty fun to work with.

Q: How are you different from other photographers?

I see things they don’t see.

Q: How and when will I get my photos?

The delivery of images depends on the shoot.  Smaller shoots require 2-4 weeks of post-processing; larger shoots (weddings, large events) typically take up to 8 weeks.  High-res image files will be burned to a CD or DVD for you, and you will get a copyright release granting permission for printing.  BOOM.  That’s how that works.

Q: What if I lose my CD or DVD of images?

A second copy of your images can be obtained through me; however, there will be a $150 fee.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use?

I like Canon cameras and lenses.  I also like old-timey film cameras.

“The camera doesn’t make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE.” – Ernst Haas

“The single most important component of a camera is the twelve inches behind it.” – Ansel Adams

Q: Can you recommend a good DJ, officiant, caterer, wedding site, etc?

Why yes, I can.  Thank you for asking.  Email me at deweystphoto@gmail.com for details.

Q: Why the cost?

Please refer to my “Why the Cost?” page for a detailed answer to that question.

Q: Can I buy a piece of your artwork or commission a piece?

OF COURSE!  I LOVE to sell prints.  If there is a certain print  you’ve got your eye on, email me at deweystphoto@gmail.com.  I’d be happy to go over options with you.  I also sell prints at What a Load of Craft! each December.
